Practice

About a practice inspired by chicken keeping.

This practice will likely place me into the “too weird” category  for many folks who are into chicken keeping – just remember, no matter what path you follow: are the people in it tolerant, considerate, kind and respectful of others, including animals? Does your path lead you to become more compassionate? Does your path help you realize the deep oneness there is with everything?

On June 5 2013, a friend shared something on facebook and on June 7, after some online investigation, this “practice” began and stood there at 6 am bare feet on the ground – sunrise today: 539 – but here hidden till 6 am …already incredibly bright – plus, i am very light sensitive …so 4 seconds is a long time…never could find UVA readings that give actual hourly numbers for this region. It is called: sun-gazing.

and I do it inspired by my wish not to cause suffering or death of animals or plants for food…. and I suspect there are other dimensions to it.

I feel called to it at this time and I think is is because after what I went through with Skye, a dog I took care of for 7 months, and Stormy, who died in July 2012 and then the deep work with chickens since May of 2012, – several of whom I lost – …some real …well, realizations happened and – if there is a way to be healthy and vibrant without having to kill anything (eat sun energy second or 3rd hand in the form of plants of animals) ….then yes, it is worth it.

This comes on the predisposition of loving nature her creatures.

If you would like to follow it, I am going to keep a monthly log-post.

This is the link http://guardianlv.com/2013/05/nasa-confirms-super-human-abilities-gained/ and the video from that page is embedded below.

I currently don’t do sitting or standing meditations …so working up anything past 3 minutes will be a tough one &  I hate getting up early, but at sundown the sun is even less available (trees)…but it is worth a try ….I will not stop eating unless what they say happens naturally after several months…but i don’t eat much anyway … but if it is true…can you even imagine the implications for the world? not HAVING to grow anything to kill it for food in most parts of the world? – supposedly – per physics – we are energy …. so – why would it NOT be possible …and also, we only do use 10% or less of our brain, most of the dna was/is considered “junk” – really? nature is that wasteful, did you hear other things that were sold as truth which really are not? …i don’t think we have a clue yet who we can be in and as humans. – i am not doing it for “superhuman” abilities – i have “met” “seen” animals and plants …they are not separate from who i am – and as much as some part of my human form may have enjoyed such “food” and still is …i know deep down, that i will not have to keep killing (directly or indirectly) for what i am meant to be as a human …in this life or the next … even if i return to play this earth game with a new body …. i don’t want to kill other life forms for food – and this thing is – we don’t have to – we just did not know it – …imagine – plants and animals exist and we can get to admire and know them …without killing them…..

Eyes have a direct path into some of the brain centers …and the brain lights up differently if they see – like a tree, or sun …but yeah …who knows really …maybe that is a way for me to finally get to meditate …. as to UV rays…they don’t get through the atmosphere below a certain angle …. as in if you want to make vitamin d …you need sun at certain times of the day …and in winter, we don’t get those at all….

What do I mean by practice?

I mean to engage in and/or explore repeatedly, diligently and with some discipline activities and areas in depth for the purpose of penetrating to an essential, higher vibrational level than ordinary unconscious existence. Generally these practices are done with an intention to go beyond the level of human primate ego, beyond the “normal” state of consciousness. Maybe one should say: spiritual practices. And I do not mean: habit – like if you are in the habit of getting a morning coffee at your favorite coffee house – although, with proper intention – it all can become a practice and tool.
All forms of meditation are usually intended for this, art can be used that way, relationship, sexual and other forms of yoga, dance, cooking, spiritual gaming and doing specially designed exercises, selling, group work and even healing and therapy…anything you do to get you to be here with a high degree of attention and essential presence. The above list is quite short, actually, it is beneficial to engage in practices which will engage all aspects of your being.

Practices have an effect on your body-mind towards a healthier beingness. At least that’s one of the purposes. Ability to relax out of the ordinary thinking ego-mind will eventually make it more possible for you to recognize your true nature – to “wake up”.

Often in this process of becoming conscious, or awakening, we are in need of help of those who have walked this path before us and can hopefully guide us. Those teachers, helpers and guides come in various shapes and forms and levels of realization – and some, if not all, use certain methods and tools to help in the process – using those tools with intention and discipline can become a real practice. Some of the explorations on these pages may have to do with guides I met on the path this time around, some deal with tools used in practice.

After some years in this work I noticed: those we do a great deal of work with, we likely have worked with before. It appears that certain soul groups tend to reincarnate to work together again and again. At least so it seems to me at this point.

And may you all find your deepest heart of hearts – the true guide of your being.
